Violence against doctors reaches record levels in Spain
Figures released by Organización Médica Colegial (OMC), which represents all medical colleges in Spain, show that 879 aggressions against doctors were recorded in 2025, the highest annual figure since records began in 2010.1Separately, Spain’s Ministry of Health has published broader figures covering violence against all healthcare staff in the Spanish national health system.
