Meet your speakers:
- Dr. Patricia Henwood serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer at Jefferson Health—one of the largest non-profit health systems in the United States, encompassing 32 hospitals and over 700 sites of care. A Professor of Emergency Medicine and Population Health, she leads Jefferson’s nationally recognised OnPoint care operating system, driving transformative improvements in quality, safety, and clinical performance. Her career spans frontline emergency care, global health leadership, and strategic system redesign, bringing deep experience from both U.S. and international settings. She has led initiatives in pandemic response, health equity, and quality innovation across diverse populations and geographies. Her work integrates AI-powered, data-driven decision-making with compassionate care to advance scalable, high-quality health system performance.
- Dr Kieran Walsh is Clinical Director at BMJ Group. He is the clinical lead of the medical education and clinical decision support products at BMJ Group. He has a vast amount of experience in online medical education, clinical decision support, face to face delivery of medical education, and both summative and formative assessment. He has published over 200 papers in the biomedical literature and has published four books: the first and only book on cost effectiveness in medical education, a dictionary of quotations in medical education, a history of medical education in 100 images, and the Oxford Textbook of Medical Education. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and Adjunct Associate Professor at Monash University. In the past, he has worked as a hospital doctor specialising in General Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine
