If you have ever attended, presented or spoken at The International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare, then we would love to hear from you
To mark 30 years of the International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare, we are creating a special impact supplement. It will show how Forum participation has translated into real world change in healthcare.
Why take part
Contributing gives you the opportunity to:
-
Showcase your work on a global stage, with your project or leadership journey featured in a professionally designed BMJ publication
-
Demonstrate measurable impact, linking your work to quality improvement, system redesign, funding success, policy influence, or sustained change
-
Raise the profile of your organisation or programme, through reuse of your story across BMJ Group channels and at the Forum in Oslo
-
Strengthen the evidence base for improvement, by clearly articulating how Forum learning informed decisions and outcomes
-
Leave a lasting record, positioning your work as part of the Forum’s 30 year legacy of impact, not nostalgia
Perhaps:
-
a quality improvement project that was accelerated or strengthened
-
a clinical service or pathway redesigned using Forum methods
-
funding, policy traction, or scale up following Forum exposure
-
applied research that influenced practice
-
leadership capability or organisational culture shaped through repeated attendance
Who this is for
We are particularly keen to hear from:
-
clinical leads or directors
-
quality and safety or improvement leads
-
improvement advisors or improvement science leads
-
medical, nursing, or allied health educators
-
service managers responsible for system redesign
-
policy or commissioning leads
-
researchers with applied, practice changing work
-
long standing Forum faculty or regular delegates with demonstrable downstream impact
What participation involves
-
a short written profile or interview, typically 300 to 500 words
-
a clear structure linking Forum participation to outcomes and learning
-
selected direct quotes, subject to approval
-
inclusion in a professionally designed booklet, reused across BMJ Group channels and showcased at the Forum in Oslo
If you have a clear example of how attending the Forum influenced practice, systems, funding, partnerships, or leadership over time, we would very much welcome your contribution.
