Dr Kieran Walsh

Kieran is the editorial lead for our medical education and clinical decision support products. He has a vast amount of online medical education experience, clinical decision support, face-to-face delivery of medical education, and summative and formative assessment.

Kieran has published over 200 papers in the biomedical literature and has published four books. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, the Academy of Medical Educators, and Adjunct Associate Professor at Monash University. In the past, he worked as a hospital doctor specialising in general internal medicine and geriatric medicine.

Kieran regularly contributes to BMJ Opinion with thought-provoking blogs and articles on the need for more and better continuous professional development within modern healthcare systems.
