Over 5000 US government health employees denounce “dangerous and deceitful” RFK Jr statements

Health workers at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other government health agencies have told health secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr to stop spreading misinformation and endangering public health. They said that statements made by Kennedy were “dangerous and deceitful” in an open letter to him and all 535 members of Congress.12The letter has more than 5400 signatories to 26 August, having begun with around 600 signatures from current and former federal employees. Many signed anonymously because of fears for their safety or retribution.The letter expressed “grave concern for America’s health and security” after the 8 August3 attack on CDC headquarters in Atlanta and the firing of hundreds of CDC employees.In the attack a police officer was killed and 180 shots were fired.
