Professor Mattias Avila is co-Director of the Solid Tumors Program at CIMA-University of Navarra and teaches Biochemistry at the School of Medicine. He is the author of over 200 publications in international journals and is currently co-Editor in Chief of Gut. He is member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Cochin Institute in Paris, of the Center for Research in Inflammation (CRI) at INSERM, Paris, and of the Oncogenesis, Stress, Signaling INSERM Unit 1242, Rennes, France.
