Fadi Issa is Professor of Transplantation at the University of Oxford and a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Burns Surgeon. His research focuses on translating immunological discoveries into targeted cellular and immune-modulating therapies for transplantation and other immune-mediated diseases. His group combines mechanistic immunology, biomarker and tissue-based studies, and early phase clinical trials, with particular interests in regulatory cell therapies and reducing reliance on long-term immunosuppression.
